I have wanted to read this book for a long time now but I just got around to it. I found that the advice was lacking in rational thought as the author, Mr. Kononenko, advocates shooting dice from the farthest point of the table away from the back wall that you have to hit.
This makes no sense to me. I was also very disappointed in the layout and text of the book as there were many grammatical errors. If an author doesn't take care with his writing how can you believe him when it comes to his advice? Sloppiness is sloppiness. The betting advice was okay but I felt the writer really had no grasp of the math of the game and how to exploit a controlled dice shot.
I gave the book two stars instead of one because I think that there is something very powerful in attempting to control the dice but one has to really have the ability to do it, not just write about it. Since this book seems to be jumping on the dice control bandwagon I think the reader has to be careful about the advice Kononenko gives. Dice control is the right idea for beating craps but this is the wrong book to learn it from.
